The Liberties is a favorite neighborhood gathering place in The Mission featuring superb food, a great selection of cocktails & beers, an outdoor park-let & a welcoming staff. A comfortable European-style bar and restaurant, The Liberties is the perfect choice for a boozy brunch or a great place to gather with a group of friends for an evening out. From house Kennebec fries to thin-crust pizzas, our pub snacks are a must on your night out! We serve dinner until 30 minutes before the bar closes 7 days a week. Our menu features favorites like fish & chips, burgers & salads. We also cater for groups in our private back room and welcome parties of all occasions. Our back room caters for parties of 25 people and our park-let can accommodate 40+ more with customized appetizer and entrée menus. visit us at happy hour every weekday until 6pm for discounted drinks & snacks. Grab a pint with friends and enjoy your favorite sports ball game on our ridiculously GIGANTIC freakin' television.

OUR STORYEstablished in 2000. The Liberties has been your neighborhood pub since 2000. Our mission is to provide amazing food and drinks in a fun and welcoming environment. With over two decades of success, we look forward to adding you to our long history of happy customers.
Under new ownership since 2019, Ian was a regular at The Liberties and took it over when the original owner decided it was time to move on. He feels a special obligation to preserve it as a neighborhood gem. It should remain a cozy, welcoming place to get great service, cocktails, and food while meeting and enjoying the company of your neighbors. Connection is harder to find these days, but you will find it here if you look.
